Moving on to a New Chapter on Cufflinks

closeup cufflinks

AS we know cufflinks are one popular men's fashion accessory which someone wouldn't hestiate to spend money on. They are must-have for men who always wanted something special to be worn on their cuff other than a bracelet. Even nowsaday some common shirts are designed to go with cufflinks, let alone with the cuff button.

Get jazzed up with the metal-like stuff around your sleeves, and give them a beautiful outlook. Cuff links were fashion statements for men in the past. But in today world, it is the reverse.

Upcoming and is happening now, women's shirt are designed to have cuff links. Some woman even started wearing cufflinks ( those small and cute type on the streets)

The range of designs to choose can be from your hobbies, work theme to diamonds and gemstones . You get your cufflink on expensive branded stores or at the flea market or eBay online.

Gold and Silver being the all time favourites. Once you start wearing it, you won't be able to resist these accessories on the sophistication it brings about to an ordinary cuff shirts.

As we all know cufflinks were invented in the late 18th century. Only adorned the sleeves of wealthy men and kings. But in today context, it's for everybody.

Embassy Fashion House In Bangkok
Embassy Fashion House in Bangkok [The only British bespoke tailor]

Well, this is what I called a quality video. The shop owner practically take you into his shop and shows you what they have before you even walk into the shop.

Visit this shop next time when you happen to visit Bangkok. Notice that each section of men's clothing is shown here. Get up and create some video for your store if you are a clothing owner. Ever wonder why everyone into videos?

Imagine if you have a talking store for all your products that you are selling.
Would it be nice you just create the video once and let it do the talking for you online.

This a very new idea. If you tap into the full potential you are going to make alot of money.
Look at the detail of the cufflinks. Simply awesome presentation then plain pictures.
Store owners, your new competition had just begun to show itself. (Online)

Men's jewellery market grows 15%
Men's jewellery market grows 15%

Hello everyone,

Wow, saw this studded news on men's jewellery. More and more man are into buying jewellery. According to industry figures, domestic men’s jewellery market is currently growing at 15%. This is a pretty figure which undeniable have a huge profit margine to be made.

Some of the commonly bought items include: conventional chains, rings, bracelets, cufflinks and kurta buttons, precious metals have entered into new categories such as diamond studded wallet clips, collar corner, wrist chains, belts and buckles to name a few.

It was reported that women is becoming bolder and men geeting sensitive, there is going to be a revolution in jewellery market.

Woman now go for chunky jewellery and bold coloured stones and man are more into charms, crystal studs and lighter neckpieces. I would agree as I saw more and more man wearing cufflinks and bracelet in my country.

Seems like this is a huge untapped market -men's jewellery!
The most popular item among men is gold chain and bracelets, not to worry cufflinks is catching up..haha.

The main reason for the slower growth in cufflinks can be attributed to cost, lack of awareness and the human nature ( all man are lazy when come to dressing)

Until next time.

Antonio Pineda's Cuff links

Antonio Pineda's Cuff links

Antonio Pineda

Hello guys,

Hmm, how often do you wear a pair of cufflinks with stone embedded? Rather how often do you see a pair nowsaday. Nope I am not talking about precious stone or gems. Let's take a look at this famous designer - Antonio Pineda.

Similarly to many top Scandinavian designers, Antonio Pineda not only studied jewelry making (at one of the Spratling benches) but also studied painting. When he returned to Taxco from technical studies in Mexico City, he first worked with Valentin Vidaurreta whose large jewelry designs influenced him in size of pieces. Antonio opened his own shop in 1941 and went on to become one of the top Taxco silversmiths whose large clean lined pieces were a style unto themselves.

Antonio also used more costly stones than any of his contemporaries. This, together with his belief that he could make finer lines in 970 silver than in sterling (925) made his pieces stand apart from the other makers.
Antonio's work was recognized worldwide and for many years among his apprentice students were individuals attending Syracuse University. Antonio's pieces go beyond a Mexican silver collection as the quality and style of his pieces matches any silver smithy in the world.

Seriously,  each pair of designer cufflinks have a story behind. You might have a story to share. Why not share it here?

Hope to hear your story soon! Cheers!
